Only data that is necessary is collected and none of it is shared.  You can ask to have any data linked to yourself removed

Information collected

  • Newsletter sign-ups: We only collect the information that you provide us with. You voluntarily submit this on the website in order to sign up to the newsletter.  Or you have given permission for Jo Lillywhite Art to collect your email address and add it manually to the mailing list within the newsletter app which is used to create them.
  • Newsletters: Mailchimp is used to create and distribute email newsletters. Your email address is stored online in this application.  Should you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter, you can do so by emailing Jo Lillywhite Art to request this.  Or you can do so from within one the newsletters you have received.
  • Online purchases: In the past we have used WPEasyCart to power our online store.  As part of the ordering process, the plug-in collected the following data: your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information email address, and phone number.   All data associated with credit/debit cards was collected via Stripe or PayPal. We do not hold this information at all.  
  • Device tracking: When you visit the website, Google Analytics collects certain data about your device. All this information is anonymous, but you can opt out using your own browser settings.  This information is collated by Google, and we can use it to track how visitors found the site and which pages they interact with.  It helps to build a better website and improve the visitor experience. 
  • Social Media tracking: Similar analytic tools are employed on Facebook & Instagram.  We use the anonymous data to create better social media content.  You can opt out using your own browser settings. 
  • Address:  I keep your address within my smartphone address book in order to deliver paintings and merchandise to you.  You can request for me to delete this if you wish
  • Telephone number:  I keep your telephone number in my smartphone address book in order for me to contact you about deliveries etc.  You can request for me to delete this if you wish
  • Email address:  If you have contacted me I keep your email address in my smartphone address book and within my email application in order for us to continue to communicate within this way.  You can request for me to delete this if you wish

How information is used

The purpose for collecting your personal information is to enable us to ship physical products and to ensure you can use and interact with our services as you wish.  More specifically, we use/have used your information in the following ways:

  • For online record keeping of purchase orders.
  • To enable us to fulfil orders placed through the website.
  • To enable us to arrange shipping.
  • To provide you with quotes and information for potential commissions.
  • To show you progress photos of commissions.
  • To provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations.
  • To communicate with you when appropriate to clarify an order or shipping address.
  • To email newsletters where you have subscribed to this service a) through mailchimp or b) by giving me consent in person or via email

Data retention

If you have placed an order through the website, we will maintain your order information for our records unless you ask us to delete this information.

Cookies can help to improve the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies.  However, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.
