Transforming Nature into Art
A walk in nature is calming yet uplifting and always inspirational
The woodlands and landscape near my home in South Oxfordshire, UK provide the content for most of my work. The rolling hills of the Chilterns and The Ridgeway are a constant source of ideas.
I am a self-taught artist, transforming what I see in nature into art, with my own individual take on it. Colour and perspective are my main focus. I want viewers to feel that they can walk into the scene and enjoy being there.
Drawing and painting has been a passion from an early age and I’ve always had a keen interest in business and commerce, having attained a degree in management.
I began my artistic career taking commissions for people and my business has developed from there. Regular art exhibitions, fairs and commissions keep me busy creating and making connections with people.
My aim is to create unique and striking work which resonates with the viewer. I enjoy working closely with people to create commissioned pieces that they love and pride myself on providing a professional and personable experience.
I am an exhibiting member of the Reading Guild of Artists and Henley Arts & Crafts Guild. I’m also a Board member of Oxfordshire Artweeks.
