About this painting…

A scene in the beech woodlands near Checkendon as the sun was going down in Summer. I was inspired by the warm light filtering through the foliage of the trees and catching the tops of the beautiful ferns covering the forest floor.

The exclusive selling exhibition is at Bretforton Theatrebarn from 25th September-4th October 2026, open daily from 11am – 4pm. Entry to the exhibition is free and there is ample free parking right outside. The exhibition space is all on the ground floor.
