Greetings Card from my original painting ‘Goldfinch Tunnel Woods.’ It’s one of my 'avenue of trees' modern woodland paintings.
I paint a series of these works, inspired by the tunnels/avenues of beech trees near my home. I take the colour palette from birds, as nature already harmonises the colour scheme.
In this case, the colours of goldfinches which I find beautiful and serene. It's always a good day when the goldfinches visit the bird feeders in my garden.
