“Jo did an amazing job throughout. She listened to what I wanted and what colours I loved. She produced something beautiful and unique, that makes me happy every time I see it”, Esther K

A commissioned painting is unique and provides a really special piece of art to treasure.
You can choose from a variety of subjects – portrait of a cherished pet, a favourite view or a special place. It may be that you like one of my paintings, but would like it in a different size, or colour palette. Do get in touch and we can discuss ideas together.

How long will my Commission take?
I aim to produce the painting within 10 weeks but it is important to book your slot. This is so that your picture can be scheduled in and completed in time for any deadline you may have
How much will my painting cost?
Prices reflect the complexity of the subject, the time taken and the materials used. We will agree a price before I begin. Full colour artwork starts from £200
Kingfisher Woods ‘Maple’ Goldfinch with Teasels

Can you work from Photographs?
I can work from your photos but they will need to have sufficient detail to work from. The better the photograph, the better the painting! I can advise you on what is required. If you are local, we can potentially meet and see the subject and take photographs (especially if it is of the furry variety!) I also have a bank of reference material for landscape paintings and we can discuss what you’d like before I proceed.
Why do you take a deposit?
When we have agreed the details, I require a deposit upfront, before starting work. That way, I can ensure you are scheduled in
Can I see how the painting is progressing?
Yes. I want you to be happy with the finished result. I can send photos at various stages, to ensure the painting is emerging to your liking
How will my painting be delivered?
If you are local, I can deliver it, or you can collect it from me. Otherwise, I can post it, using specialist packaging materials to ensure it arrives in perfect condition
Who owns the Copyright for the painting?
Although you have purchased the painting and it may be from your photograph, the Copyright of the painting belongs to me. I would like to use it on my website etc. to show people examples of my work, but of course, do let me know if you do not wish me to do this
